Built by Design
Northwinds Abatement, Inc. was incorporated in Texas in March of 1987, and began operations with the current management staff in February of 1988. David A. McAllen is the owner and CEO of the organization.
Northwinds' office and warehouse are located in the northeast area of Houston, near the epicenter of Houston's Industrial and Petrochemical markets. The company has enjoyed steady growth in the industrial insulation, scaffolding and asbestos abatement industry. This has been the design of management, which has focused its efforts in the petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, and food service industries.
Growth by Request
Most of the growth has been the result of meeting our clients' requests. When asked to install insulation to replace the material that had been removed, we began to provide insulation and metal services, along with scaffold services for our own work. Then again, at a client's request, we began lead abatement services which have given our clients a dependable resource for their overall abatement and insulation needs. Another facet of our growth has been in the painting and coatings area, which further compliments our other full service capabilities as a turnkey specialty contractor.
With our extensive experience, which ranges from daily maintenance to extremely critical plant turnarounds, Northwinds' has a proven track record as a contractor that will consistently perform safe, cost effective projects in difficult environments.
